Job Title:  Senior Scientist - Cell line Development

JOB DETAILS

• Construction of single and double gene expression vectors.
• Transfection of CHO-GS (-) cell lines for generating and finalization of minipools.
• Understanding in development of GMP cell banks for process development.
• Responsible for delivering robust clones for process development.
• Work closely with process teams in transferring clones for process development.
• Single cell seeding of the minipools for monoclone generation.
• Planning and executing fed batch studies of minipools as well as monoclones for titre as well as quality analysis.
• Preparation of department specific SLPs and SOPs.
• Preparation and review of cell line development reports for mammalian as well as microbial projects.
• Management of vendors for laboratory requirements.
• Management of in-house inventories.
• Planning the structure and execution of experiments.

EXPERIENCE

• 1-5 years of work experience developing mammalian cell lines in biopharma/biotech or relevant contract research labs or fresh PhD with experience in molecular biology

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

MSc Biochemistry/Genetics/Microbiology/biological sciences/biotechnology, M.Tech
