JOB DETAILS
GST Compliance & Returns
Review and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other relevant returns.
Perform monthly ITC reconciliations (Books vs GSTR-2B).
Ensure timely GST payments, resolve mismatches, and apply for GST refunds if applicable.
Stay updated with amendments in GST law and ensure implementation.
Income Tax Compliance
Ensure timely tax payments.
Assist with corporate income tax return , Tax Audits preparation and e-filing.
Monitor advance tax liability and ensure correct computation and payment.
Generate and distribute Form 16/16A, track 26AS reconciliation.
Handling of Tax Notices (GST & Income Tax)
Acknowledge and respond to Income Tax and GST notices promptly.
Liaise with tax consultants and legal advisors for notice handling and litigation support.
Maintain a tracker for all notices, actions taken, and outcomes.
Prepare responses for scrutiny assessments, appeals, and investigations.
Companies Act Compliance
Ensure compliance with provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable rules.
Coordinate and support for Board Meetings, AGMs, and EGM documentation (notices, agendas, minutes).
Assist in ROC filings such as MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC, and others.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing of resolutions & returns with MCA.
Work closely with Company Secretary / CS consultants to maintain compliance health.
Internal Audit Support
Coordinate with internal auditors by providing required reports and data.
Ensure closure of audit queries within deadlines.
Implement and track audit recommendations.
Prepare and manage audit schedules, including reconciliations for tax and statutory items.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain up-to-date and accurate statutory records, digital and physical.
Organize compliance filings (GST, Income Tax, ROC) in a centralized, audit-ready manner.
Maintain a master compliance calendar covering GST, TDS, ROC, and Income Tax deadlines.
Coordination & Communication
Work cross-functionally with accounts, legal, operations, and external consultants.
Escalate and report critical issues to management with suggested resolutions.
Participate in compliance training and update stakeholders on regulatory changes.
EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years in Direct, Indirect Taxation & Company Law Compliance
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Chartered Accountant / CMA / Inter CA (with 8 to 10 year experience)
