JOB DETAILS

The candidate should independently execute and plan the mAb upstream processing related activities within the Process Sciences group. The role entails utilization of the technical experience to work as team that will be focused on aseptic unit operations for cell culture & upstream processing for monoclonal antibodies for developmental activities of drug substance of clinical grade product quality.

• Skilled and highly proficient in aseptic handling of cell culture related sterile operations.
• Must have experience in working with disposable mini bioreactors and Glass laboratory bioreactors with minimum supervision.
• Well verse with Media, feed and supplement preparation and sterile filtration.
• Should be work proficiently with automated bioanalyzers, and automated cell counter for in process analysis.
• Have understanding in mAb upstream process development in GLP/GMP suite.
• Able to perform clone, media and feed screening with ABMR 15 and AMBR 250 mini bioreactor & shake flasks scale.
• Optimization of upstream processes at laboratory scale bioreactors preferably 5L and 10L.
• Must have knowledge about basic DOE and data trending and data analysis.
• Documentation, QA compliance data presentation.

EXPERIENCE

• MSc/ MTech/ PhD in Biotechnology with 2 to 6 years of experience developing mAb upstream processes from mammalian cell lines in biopharma/biotech or relevant contract research labs.
• Preference will be for personnel having prior experience in leading a team in biopharma organizations that focus on mAb upstream processing unit operations.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• M.Sc / M.Tech/ PhD. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology or equivalent
